Each side of the case has the quote "And so the Lion fell in love with lamb". It has silver metal hardware for the hinges, clasp, and studs. The inside is lined with black felt. Sturdy yet fragileApr 01, 2009
By M. Rusnell I bought the vintage carrying case for use as a fun purse. The case is quite sturdy with a fun hook closure. The bottom of the case is felt -great for strictly indoor use, not so good for outside. The biggest downside, the paint seems to be water-soluble. I got some raindrops on the paint and where it touched, the paint simply washed away or smudged a water spot. I'll be buying a silicone/protective spray tonight in an attempt to protect the paint job.
